Background of Darling Enterprise LLC

Don Darling, owner of Darling Enterprise LLC, has lived in Estes Park since 1993 and finished his first custom home in 1994.  Originally from Northeastern Ohio, Don and his wife Larraine have been married for over 30 years and have three grown children and two grandchildren.  In his free time Don enjoys riding his Harley and is actively involved in his community.

Don is a third-generation builder who began working as a carpenter in 1977 and launched his own company in 1979.  Don builds approximately one custom home per year and is very "hands-on" during the design and construction.  Don maintains a small crew and has a close working relationship with an architectural designer, providing a true "design/build" experience for his clients.  Since 2004 Darling Enterprise has specialized in Windcliff Estates where Don has completed three homes and has 7 additional homes in the planning stages.
